PRE-CARE — BEFORE YOUR APPOINTMENT
To ensure the best healed results and comfort:
Shower before your appointment.
Refrain from waxing or plucking your brows for at least 1 week prior.
Botox should be done 1 month before or 1 month after your brow tattoo.
Avoid scheduling during your menstrual cycle if you are very sensitive — skin may feel more tender during this time.
Eat a snack before your appointment — sessions can take up to 4 hours.
You may take Tylenol for sensitivity (avoid Advil, Aspirin, or any blood-thinning medication).
Numbing cream is provided — no need to bring or purchase your own.
Bring photo references of your preferred brow shape or color.
Go to the gym before your appointment — no sweating or cardio for up to 7 days after.
No tanning 24 hours prior.
No alcohol 24 hours before and after your tattoo — it can increase bleeding and affect pigment retention.
POST CARE — AFTER YOUR BROW TATTOO
IMMEDIATELY AFTER YOUR APPOINTMENT
Mild redness or irritation is normal and will subside within a few hours.
Brows will appear darker and more intense for the first 5–7 days — this is part of the normal healing process.
Full healing takes about 2 weeks, while true color and shape will appear after 6–8 weeks.
Day of Procedure:
Gently blot the area with a clean tissue to absorb any lymph fluid every 5 minutes if needed.
Removing lymph prevents hardening or scabbing buildup.
5 hours post-procedure, gently cleanse with an unscented cleanser (e.g. baby shampoo, Cetaphil) and pat drywith a clean tissue.
AFTERCARE INSTRUCTIONS
Day 1–7 — CLEANSING
Wash daily to remove bacteria, oil, and product buildup — this will not remove pigment.
Gently wash morning and night using fingertips and a mild, fragrance-free cleanser (e.g. Cetaphil, baby shampoo).
Massage gently for 10 seconds, rinse thoroughly, and pat dry with a clean tissue.
Avoid cleansers with acids (glycolic, lactic, AHA) or exfoliants.
Use a new, clean tissue each time — do not use your regular towel to avoid bacteria.
Day 2–7 — MOISTURIZING
Apply a rice grain amount of aftercare balm/ointment with a clean, dry Q-tip.
Spread it thinly and evenly; it should be barely visible on the skin.
Always use a new Q-tip each time to avoid contamination.
Do not overapply — excessive ointment suffocates the skin and delays healing.
Never apply product on damp or wet brows.
IMPORTANT REMINDERS
Avoid tanning, swimming, saunas, hot tubs, gyms, or sweating for 10 days.
Avoid tanning or direct sun exposure for 6 weeks — UV can fade or change pigment color.
Avoid facials, chemical peels, retinols, or exfoliating products for 2 weeks.
Avoid sleeping on your face or activities that put pressure on your brows for 10 days.
Do not pick, peel, or scratch scabs — this can cause scarring or pigment loss.
Avoid long, hot showers for 10 days.
Avoid makeup or sunscreen on the treated area during healing.
Do not rub or touch your brows unnecessarily.
SHOWERING INSTRUCTIONS
Keep showers under 5 minutes to reduce steam exposure.
Keep your face away from direct water until the end of your shower.
Wash your hair last to minimize water contact on the brow area.
Avoid hot water and excessive rinsing on the treated area.
